band bio

Fascination 127 can best be described as "a synthesis of creative sensations, overlaid with a color spectrum of instrumentation, imagined with imagination."

Fascination 127, an alternative, experimental project, began its formation spring 2000. Upon five years of continuous recording, rehearsing, attention to professional live performance and presentation, 127 released their debut CD, "The Rise and Fall of the Great Concert Halls", in spring 2004. The band followed their debut release with their second CD, "Twisted Steel with Sex Appeal", spring 2006. It was this particular release that 127 contracted famed California producers Jim Wirt and CJ Eiriksson, who have worked with the likes of Hoobastank, Alien Ant Farm, Incubus, Jacks Manniqan, and Fiona Apple, to create a 127 sonic sensation musically.

This five piece band, with members who spent their childhood admiring the Austin-Dallas, TX music scene, understand the importance of sound tight recording, but most of all, high energy performance. 127 continually makes references to historical, old concert halls in the Austin-Dallas, TX area, for this is which became the educational, inspirational, and motivational grounds that 127's musical inspirations began.
